We all like something sweet and why not start the day with a healthy bit of chocolate guilt free.
These pancakes are easy to make, gluten free, dairy free but certainly not fun free. This will put a smile on your face for the rest of the day.

Ingredients
- 3 Large Eggs
- Half Cup Cacao Powder Using cocoa powder is possible but less nutritious
- Half Cups buckwheat flour
- 1 Knob Butter
- Half Cup Maple Syrup
- 1 Medium Banana Optional

Instructions
- Mix the eggs, cacao powder and buckwheat together in a bowl until a good consistency.
- The banana can be added to this mixture if desired.
- Heat some butter in a small saucepan or pancake pan and pour in 1/6th of the mixture or 2 to 3 tablespoons.
- Cook for up to 1 minute each side or until cooked through.
- Serve on a warm plate with a knob of butter and maple syrup drizzled over the top.
- Dust some cacao powder over the top and this recipe also works well with additional fruit such as berries.
Recipe Notes
Who doesn't want chocolate for breakfast? When you are reintroducing foods this recipe is great. Just dont overdose it and have sweet things too often. Keep them as a special weekend treat!
